Project Overview

Bitxe is a conceptual cryptocurrency trading platform designed for both beginner and experienced crypto traders. The goal was to create a clean, modern, and intuitive interface that simplifies crypto trading while displaying real-time market data. The app focuses on fast onboarding, easy portfolio management, and a smooth buy/sell experience.

About the Company

Bitxe is a startup aimed at making crypto trading accessible to everyone. Their mission is to simplify complex trading flows and provide users with a secure, fast, and user-friendly mobile platform for digital asset management.

My Role

UI/UX Designer
I managed the complete design process from start to finish. My responsibilities included:

• Conducting user research

• Competitor analysis

• Wireframing

• Designing high-fidelity UI screens

• Building a consistent design system for the app

Design Process

Research & Competitor Analysis

I studied popular crypto trading apps like Coinbase, Binance, and WazirX. The focus was to identify industry-standard UX patterns, common user pain points, and best practices for financial data visualization.

User Flow Mapping

I defined clear user journeys:

• Sign up and onboarding

• Portfolio dashboard view

• Market browsing

• Buy/sell crypto flow

• Transaction history review

Wireframing

Created low-fidelity wireframes to map out the app structure and main features before moving into the visual design stage.

UI Design Highlights

Onboarding & Login

A simple 3-step onboarding explaining app benefits, followed by a clean and secure login/signup screen.

Portfolio Dashboard

• Total portfolio value

• Individual crypto holdings

• Performance trends and asset distribution using charts and graphs

• Clean dark theme with accent colors for readability and trust

Live Market Page

• Real-time price tracking

• Percentage change indicators

• Quick access Buy/Sell buttons

• Minimal step transaction flow

• Simple input fields for quantity and price

• Confirmation screens with transaction summary

Transaction History

Users can view and filter past trades by coin, transaction type, and date.
